Comments on: Eight units up front and 4 cabeese and (gasp) one load! No doubt an equipment move westbound and one what looks to be a transformer along for the ride. A beautiful late May weekend has a few of the fans out at the Jct., a most popular location for trainwatching many years back. Only locos noted are the first 4, CN 5570, 5506, 9574 and 9521…………

THIS is what you really notice as the years go by. Everybody is hollering about “save the trees” and the flamin’ things are sprouting up everywhere, rendering great locations for photos useless, and in many cases completely changing the landscape. I can’t help but reflect when I walk Dundas and view 40 ft trees where it was once CN-manicured open lands.
