Comments on: End of the line for an underused electric engine. A GE E60C-2 that was built for Nacionales de México during the 1980′s is being scrapped on the Dominion Bridge property in the spring of 2008. My future father-in-law (Glen Fisher) was involved in brokering these locomotives and attempting to sell/lease them to Montreal’s AMT (commuter train agency) for use on the electrified Deux-Montagnes line.
