<title>Comments on: Environment Canada records show that the coldest temperature ever recorded at Toronto&#8217;s Pearson airport was -31.3 °C on January 4, 1981. It might have been a few ticks warmer here at Rouge Park along the Lakefront east of Toronto where 4 frozen railfans from Cleveland started the day instead of being home to watch the Browns lose their best shot at the Super Bowl on a play now famously known as Red-Right 88. We had spent the night in Toronto and it was a real surprise that the vinyl seats our Chevy Nova didn&#8217;t crack. But it did fire up pretty strong. The wind off the frozen lake here was brutal but we got a lot of good shots that weekend.</title>
