Comments on: Every time I look at this image, as much as I like it, I recall stopping on a hike from the Romford RoW shack to this view, and asking myself what the bleep was wrong with me. Putting it mildly, this trek was a bitch now that I think back at it. jagged rocks and deceiving snow filling deep crevices that one had to be very careful to avoid. But what a day!!!! Here’s northbound (or west, if you prefer) CP #403 with CP 5737, 5774 and 5506, all different paint schemes, on a grand, but COLD, late winters’ day. I’m not exactly sure where I am, as all this snow and rock looks the same to me, and Baby Lake I assume is somewhere over by the horizon, so appreciate correction to my location map by those who know the area better than I. For watching trains though, there is still nothing like a trip to Sudbury.

Arnold,Baby Lake would be just ahead of the train, across the tracks from where you took the picture. Nice shot! That's some serious hiking to get to there!!
