Comments on: Every year on the third Saturday of June, the annual CNR Bayview Meet is held on the Laking Gardens pedestrian bridge at the well known CN Bayview Junction. Railfans come from all over Ontario to meet up and watch trains on this day. For me it is not a day to take the money shot or go off chasing an excellent train, it is a time to see some old friends and get to catch up with others. Pictured is CN 148 framed between two railfans, I am unsure who is on the left but the photographer on the left is my good friend Cody Lee. This year the meet occurs on June 18, 2016, railfans will be there from daybreak until sunset, hope to see lots of people there!

This year’s CNET Bayview Meet is on June 16 2018. Come early for best light and the best turnout, people will be there at the crack of dawn and all day. Laking Garden Bridge, Royal Botanical Gardens. Stay as long as you want and don’t forget to sign the guestbook!

I remember when the good railfans used to start at 0001 and end at 2359! I guess that doesn’t happen anymore!
