Comments on: Ex Reader Railroad 108 passing through CP’s Agincourt Yard on its way to its new home at Conway Scenic Railroad on July 4 1976. 108 was built by Baldwin in 1920 as San Augustine County Lumber #108. It then went to the Angelina and Neches before going to the Reader in 1954. After a boiler failure and a number of years on display at Conway Scenic it apparently was sent to Texas in 1999, but I could not determine its current location or condition.

Sorry for any confusion; photo was taken in 1976 as the engine was being moved from the Reader Railroad in Arkansas to the Conway Scenic Railroad in New Hampshire. I have no idea why this eastbound movement was via CP through Agincourt Yard. Also, of interest is that it is loaded on a Milwaukee Road flat car.
Thanks for the comment.

New Hampshire to Texas via Agincourt yard seems a curious route?
