Comments on: Fall colours in full swing at the end of September in Northern Ontario. It is a beautiful scene as ONR 1731 and 1735 power a train southward on their way from Cochrane to Englehart. The 1735 is still rolling over the ONR, but 1731 was sold in 2005. Glad you enjoy the photos. Swastika "station" as we call it should be demolished by now. I heard the word was out that it was expendable sometime this past spring. No doubt it was well documented by the fans, but still; it is now just another hole in our railranning landscape. Northern Ontario in the fall can be dazzling.
