The 2019 bayview meet is coming soon! Join about 50 to 75 of your fellow 'fans on a popular hangout spot at the Laking Garden bridge (located behind the photographers in this photo) of the Royal Botanical gardens. We've had the meet here for about 22 of the 23 years and it won't last forever - Electrification will most certainly doom this structure and rumours are already abound of removal. People show up at the crack of dawn and some stay all day. Sign the guestbook if you do come. It's a family friendly spot too.

From the FPON list - here's the announcement:

"Come join us June 22 2019 for the 24th annual Bayview Meet. It’s a great time to renew acquaintances or put faces to names of people you only know via the internet, the whole pretense for how this all began.

For those who have not ever been, Bayview Jct can be found at Spring Garden Road off Plains Rd in Burlington, Ontario, right at the Hamilton/Burlington boundary.

Feel free to ask if you need more info.

Gang - Please note this meetup is NOT organized and it's informal - show up when you want to, food, drink and shelter is not provided so please come prepared (but there's a new Tim Hortons walking distance from the bridge).
