I have found that in business, goodwill is the most important thing there is… until someone offers to do the same work at slightly less cost. A lot of these things are driven by competition, and CP has tough competition from CN… who has no steam engine.

That was a fun day. I chased it from Havelock to Agincourt, then had to break off the chase to go to work.

Safe bet Hunter has never once had a second thought about the 2816. Sentimentality does not pay dividends.
