Comments on: Flying “Extra Flags” CPR 5008 and another SD-40 haul a short train near the cemetery on York Blvd in Hamilton, ON. The date is June 1968. Note the unusual centre cupola caboose bringing up the tail end of this train.

I recall seeing that unusual van in London. One day on my way to high school I saw a CP train with a yellow bay window ‘van’ too. That was about the same year you took this photo Dave.
