<title>Comments on: For a few days back in the spring of 1995, CP trains thru Niagara were detoured over the CN Grimsby sub while some maintenance work was being done at Hamilton&#8217;s Hunter St tunnel.
As with most CP trains over the normal route I would see in Niagara Falls, they ran late in the day. It was to my advantage here in this image across from where the old Merritton station used to stand, as the late day sunlight gave the head end power a pleasant glow.
Seen here on CP&#8217;s #521 are: CP 5652, 1803, 4250, HLCX 521 and CP 1815, an interesting mixture of locomotives.</title>
