Comments on: For a long time this was a favourite place to wait for CP heading toward Hamilton. The South Siding Switch Montrose. Unfortunately the track is gone save for a switchback to industries for the Welland local. Adding to the situation is Niagara’s endless determination to obliterate on street parking (how dare anyone park for free!) with No Parking signs, fences and what-have-you to discourage motorists stopping here. Not that it matters here any more. The tower in the background has been so ambushed by new highrise hotels I am not sure if it is even visible from this angle any more. More good old days gone by.
