Comments on: For awhile in the 2005 time frame, the NS was taking delivery of their new ES40DC locomotives faster than they could get them painted. The ones running around minus the NS black we referred to as “stealth”. Unusual to see two of them together, but here they are, NS 7516 and 7517 rolling thru Grimsby with train #328; Talbotville to Buffalo auto parts. The scene here is at Nelles Rd. Pretty soon these GEVOs seemed to be everywhere.

The military style stencils were cool, probably applied with spray paint.

Get that Krylon out. Probably took all of 10 minutes to do this. Maybe even less than that.
