<title>Comments on: For many years, CN 4016 and 4017 (later 9316 and 9317) were assigned to passenger service out of Toronto. This included runs in southwestern Ontario and on conventional trains to/from Montreal. At times, this also included GO service in the Greater Toronto Area (they received high speed gearing for this service). Here we see GP40 4016 leading a VIA train through Bayview&#8211;note the steam generator which still is in CN paint with a small VIA logo next to the number. The baggage car at the tail end also is still in CN paint.</title>
