Comments on: For the first time since 2019, MTC 1959 is doing its usual loop around the grounds at Exporail. Here it has just crossed a diamond as it prepares to stop at Barrington Station. This station was built by the Canadian Atlantic Railway in 1882 and was located in the small town of Barrington, Quebec. It was moved to what would become Exporail in 1965.

Very, very nice Michael, colourful, good framing and composition, historical objects and artifacts, whether it’s old MTC 1959, the Canada Atlantic Railway Barrington station, the double semaphore diamond crossing protection signal or the reconditioned trolley wire overhead, many of these so familiar to me decades ago. Had the good fortune to ride on 1959 in regular service in the mid-1950’s on one of my frequent visits to Montreal to see CRHA friends, ride on CRHA Ecursions (steam and trolley) , visit the M&SC. THANKS for posting, for me a little trip down memory lane, John
