Comments on: For those who know this area, the CP mainline looking westward at the eastbound train off the side of the Hwy 6 overpass in Puslinch, is one peaceful green scene back in 1976. Now, the area is over-run with farm equipment buildings and anything else country commercial. This shot is definitely worthy of a time machine effort. In this view we see CP 5538 and 4706 with a long long string of boxcars…….something else we see little of any more. Pity it was a dreary day, but it was a day off work, and back then the weather was a minor hindrance.

Another place with a similar view is at the overpass on the CN at Watford.

Something tells me either road should have Heritage Units. Great photo

Very nice, Arnold. Loved that original CP Rail candy striped scheme. Good lookin’ multi- armed pole line and utility building. Thanks for sharing.
