That was about as good as it got. The railroad was only in business 10 years, spun off by CN and re-acquired by CN (1998-2008) Included in the 2008 acquisition were the two locomotives pictured, but they were retired shortly thereafter.
The length of the NBEC was once the Intercolonial Railway of Canada, a very historical line.</title>
