<title>Comments on: Fourteen miles west of Vegreville is the hamlet of Mundare, Alberta. In 1971, a pair of trains ran between North Battleford and Edmonton&#8211;giving passengers from communities along the line the opportunity to spend a full afternoon in &#8220;the city&#8221; and return in the evening. Departing North Battleford at 0700, the &#8220;Budd car&#8221; stopped at Vermillion between 0920 and 0924, Vegreville at 1025, and Mundare at 1040 with a scheduled 1155 arrival in Edmonton. Today, the train could be late due to a mechanical failure, given that GMD1 1043 is helping out.</title>
