Comments on: From what I’ve been told, CP 5833 is to be scrapped where it sits, on a siding off the CSXT Montreal Sub in Beauharnois. Built for CP in 1974, it will not be around much longer. Behind is a pair of CSXT road units.

Not that familiar with this line, but I believe a road freight leaves here in the evening for Massena, NY. Probably daily but really not sure.

Quite a bit of traffic goes to/from Beauharnois, with a cargo flo facility and numerous industrial clients served by CSX. Seems like mostly tank cars and hoppers.

Hey Michael….The CSX map shows this as the “end” of CSX….what traffic, or where would any traffic go to / from here?
