Comments on: Getting decent shots of the OSR switching Owens Corning in Guelph was never an easy task. It was always a back lit shot so a bright and cloudy day worked best. It’s an interesting industry with tracks buried in the pavement, and at times was almost switched daily, but times have changed. Reports have it that it was last switched in June 2016 and is no longer receiving shipments by rail. Not Canadian, but where a lot of Canadians go to Myrtle Beach... there's a short line that runs down to Myrtle Beach that was derelict for 3 Years only to be resurrected by RJ Corman was a means of bringing rail service back to the area, cutting down on truck traffic and creating employment.
