Directly behind the Park car at the left of the frame sits tomorrow’s Skeen destined to Prince Rupert, BC. At the far right is CN 2100 the conductor training locomotive for Jasper yard employees. The yard won’t stay empty for long.

Shot out the rear dome window of VIA 88706 Glacier Park, which had received an exterior window scrub during the 3-hour station stop in Jasper.
Getting hyped for my next VIA 001 The Canadian trip coming up on March 4th. This time around I’m traveling in Prestige Class with the hopes of plenty of right front seat time.

In the off-season (November 1-April 30) access to the Park car is available at any time for Sleeper Plus Class passengers. In peak-season (May 1-October 31) Sleeper Plus folks can only go back to the Park car after 16:00 hrs.
