Comments on: GMD-1 CN 1123 is outside Symington Yard Diesel shop with sister 1129. Visiting Winnipeg in June 1997, I was hoping to see GMD-1 locomotives, B-B and A1A-A1A, and was not disappointed. Not knowing that some years later, a few would turn up in my area and work yards along the Oakville Subdivision west of Toronto – they were 1400 series rebuilds not in this colour scheme.
