<title>Comments on: GO cab car #240 sit at Markham on a warm late August evening in 2001, ready to take a (very) light load of commuters down to Toronto Union Station and points in between. At the time, GO began modestly expanding service on the Stouffville line, with a morning and evening turn from Toronto Union Station to Markham and back, in passenger service both directions (no deadheading equipment moves). I took this opportunity to ride up and back on both the morning and evening runs a few times. The 10 minutes or so for the turn in Markham afforded the possibility of a few quick pictures. The 240 remains on GO&#8217;s roster as of this posting, but the cab controls have been removed, and it is used as a mid-consist regular coach.</title>
