<title>Comments on: GO F59PH 564 departs Toronto Union Station eastbound towards Pickering. It is a cold and cloudy Christmas Eve of 1997, and the 564 was recently put back into service after a lengthy time in storage. It remains GO&#8217;s newest F59PH, after sisters 565-568 were sold to Trinity Railway Express (TRE) in Dallas, Texas amid provincial government cutbacks of the mid-1990s. Despite only being built in 1994, units 562-564 were kept in long-term storage at Willowbrook, along with sisters 520-523 before being placed back into service shortly before this image was taken. This is another photo location that is no longer possible, due to the buildout and modernization of Union Station and surrounding area. The Royal York Hotel still stands, but the historic train shed in the background has long since been leveled.</title>
