<title>Comments on: GO FP7 APCU #911 trails GP40-2M #724 and an unknown number of bilevels on a westbound train past Willowbrook Yard in Mimico. The FP7 was only equipped with a head end power generator, hence the designation &#8220;APCU&#8221; (Auxiliary Power Control Unit), which was used to supply hotel power to the coaches and serve as a control cab when leading. During the &#8217;80s, GO often placed one of these units in front of the motive power as crews preferred this due to the much quieter work environment compared to the cab of a GP40. Image is scanned from a slide in my collection; original photographer is not listed. I sure miss these days of GO operations though; they were a heck of a lot more interesting.</title>
