Comments on: GO Transit F59PH 521 has just arrived at Toronto’s Union Station on Track 1 (platform 3) off late morning train #254 from Bramalea (departing 10:15am, arriving at Union 10:48am), and is waiting for its final passengers to disembark before laying over and switching ends to cab car 226 for the trip back out on #257 at 11:30am (working the afternoon “Bramalea Flip” runs).
The Track 1 spot here was always good for a photo while heading to/from the bus terminal or GO concourse, and also allowed one to check the builder’s plate of every F59 that still had one – 521′s check on this day showed serial A-4746, class GCE-430G, build date 8-88, manufactured at GMDD London, Canada.

Crazy that the earliest F59s only lasted about a year or 2 after this photo was taken, but 557-564 soldier on nearly 18 years later
