Quite the catch. I was working CP’s Galt Sub (the East Pool) at this time. We often had or saw the GO units on the London Division, but I don’t recall ever seeing one going north. I think they also ran between Montreal & Toronto, but the old memory is getting a bit fuzzy after 5 plus decades. Thanks for posting this.

Awesome. I love seeing shots of the GO units in freight service – but this is different. It’s one thing – it makes a little more sense – when they are hustling auto parts or TOFC on mainline assignments. A string of old 40′ grain boxcars on a branch is something else.
