	<title>Comments on: GP9RM&#8217;s 4125 and 4104 have just come off the CN Humberstone Subdivision and have arrived at CN Nickel Yard for the west bound movement across the Welland Canal over Bridge #20.  The final desitination is the Maple Leaf Mills and Government Elevator (Port Colborne Grain Terminal).  The units are freshly painted and likely originated in Niagara Falls yard.</title>

		<description>Hi Mark, yes the Bridge came out in 1997, The St Lawrence Seaway was on a push to reduce costs so both the Port Colborne and Allanburg Bridges came out at the same time.  With Port it was the extension of the Port Colborne Harbor Line to Robin Hood along the old Welland Canal (Weir), that made the Bridge redundant.  This allowed PCHR (Trillium) to reach the Maple Leaf Mill, and Government Elevator entirely on a west side route.   It also killed the Humberstone Sub, CN Nickel Yard, Connecting Sub and marginalized all the east side canal traffic...</description>

		<description>Great shot Michael, I&#039;ve driven though here a few times but never considered what the scene would be like with the railway lift bridge still in place. It&#039;s neat to see, and I just read the railway bridge was demolished in 1997, surprised it lasted that long.</description>
