<title>Comments on: Growing up, Canadian National&#8217;s Oakville subdivision was the only rail line I knew much about. Considering the variety of traffic that ran over the line, I didn&#8217;t need much more. CN had a few through freights along with locals traveling the entire subdivision, CP traveled using trackage rights. Then there was the passenger trains, single and bi-level GO trains along with a mix of VIA trains and a pair of Amtrak trains. That was the 1980s and 1990s. Today Metrolinx owns the line and most of the freight traffic has bee re-routed elsewhere leaving little excitement on line for me. My son on the other hand has found the excitement I once had for the line and has taught me to find new photo opportunities for a line that once held so many. The Credit River bridge has long been a favourite location of mine and now the torch has been passed.</title>
