<title>Comments on: Hard to believe today, but there was a time when GE locomotives were a &#8220;rounding error&#8221; in the CN roster. (A handful of electrics in Montreal commuter service, the 70 tonners on PEI, and a few 44 tonners&#8230;) So here we have &#8220;the long and the short of it&#8221;&#8211;BCOL 4618 (built in 1990 and donated the the Alberta Railway Museum in 2023) and CN 4 (built in 1956, retired in 1967, subsequently sold to Stelco in Edmonton who donated it to the Museum in 2012). One of the volunteers told me that the 4618 is operable but too heavy to be used on the light rail at the Museum!</title>
