<title>Comments on: Have a seat in the chair, a train is about to pass. The years work completed, 580 is about to head back to Kitchener light power to let the crew enjoy new years eve festivities. Happy New Year from all of us (and myself) to all our regular viewers and contributors.
I still say this would have been a neat spot to watch trains 45 years ago.. unit oil trains one way per day (to Douglas Point via the Guelph, Fergus, Owen Sound, Kinkardine subs).. caboose hops from the station for locals, daily CN commuter trains (with heavyweights!) also wyed here until 1975, local wayfreights carrying livestock for the rural stations to the north, and plow extras all winter long. If only that house, or the residents of such, could tell us a few stories.</title>
