Comments on: Having become convinced that I am the only person in Ontario who hasn’t seen FPON I went to Brantford with high hopes. What a bust two freights in the morning both with CN power and two Via. I must try and arrange it better to try and be there in an afternoon not the morning!!!!

At least you're in Ontario and have a chance to see FPON. Like Rob Smith, even without the Yahoo group you can just can get lucky by being at the right place at the right time. I barely checked the Yahoo group and sometimes got lucky with FPON. Then again, I just like seeing trains and FPON is a bonus. Trains are not exciting here in China :(

John, I suggest you create a yahoo account and join the FPON yahoo group. People post about foreign power that is coming on trains so that you will know about it. For example today's CP 642 had a KCS unit trailing. People posted about it from Windsor all the way to Toronto. It is basically the same for CN trains on the Dundas as long as some people are trackside to post.
