 CP#2323 West reportedly encountered three eastbounds at Brighton, Colbourne and Spicer: An ethanol, tank (lead by UP) #142 and double-stack #112 hence #2323 west operating appropriately thirty minutes late with a scheduled 15:00  Bowmanville arrival and the thirty minute stage performance scheduled at 15:15
 

The CPR Holiday Train U.S.  Version passed through Port Hope earlier in the day, about 09:15, enroute to Hamilton.
