		<description>This E8 is actually 1899 (formerly 1802). The other VIA E8 (1898, nee-1800) had a convenient spotting feature - its front porthole panel was flipped around at some point, leaving a larger gap between the cab door and the porthole. It also had two MU receptacle hatches installed on the nose. VIA 1899 kept the standard porthole arrangement and only received one MU receptacle, as seen above. Both units had been re-numbered by early June of 1980 to avoid conflict with the CP RS18u rebuilding program.
