Comments on: Here is a first for people who like them. The new street level LRT has been testing for a few months now. I’m a little surprised no one has caught this already. It’s a short walk from my house and I went to the tracks on this sunny day to grab some shots. Edmonton drivers are not used to turning right and having a train, which has the right of way, going through the intersection. The LRT wins every time and this has happened several times already. Besides the accidents, I’m amazed it is running, this project has been delayed for 2 or more years with repeated delays and setbacks. The last was a very large number of cracked piers on the Argyll road overpass (and beyond) that had to be fixed up. It’s testing now and go right on ahead and give this photo the half star it deserves. :^)

It's like a lot of them got their license out of a Cracker Jack box, or, mailed a couple of box tops into Kellogg's. :-)

I like how you state "Edmonton drivers aren't used to turning right and having a train." I think they're just not used to driving correctly all together!! hahaha...

Oh, whoops again :-(, that should be 83 street not 81st. There are no LRT's running down the little streets in our neighbourhood.
Thanks Steve :-), it is something that needed a little documentation. I'm happy I got one without battle damage from the intersection mishaps. I've seen them go by with the wheel truck covers missing (the one right behind the drivers door) from being hit by a car.
