Comments on: Here is a first for people who like them. The new street level LRT has been testing for a few months now. I’m a little surprised no one has caught this already. It’s a short walk from my house and I went to the tracks on this sunny day to grab some shots. Edmonton drivers are not used to turning right and having a train, which has the right of way, going through the intersection. The LRT wins every time and this has happened several times already. Besides the accidents, I’m amazed it is running, this project has been delayed for 2 or more years with repeated delays and setbacks. The last was a very large number of cracked piers on the Argyll road overpass (and beyond) that had to be fixed up. There are no LRT's running down the little streets in our neighbourhood. Thanks Steve :-), it is something that needed a little documentation. I'm happy I got one without battle damage from the intersection mishaps. I've seen them go by with the wheel truck covers missing (the one right behind the drivers door) from being hit by a car.
