Comments on: Here is a personal favourite of mine from the summer. The annual weed killer train makes a niche presence in southern Saskatchewan, utilizing CMQ 9017 for power. This consist would unfortunately not be maintained as it would eventually merge with a ballast train in Portage la Prairie and re-shuffle power in Winnipeg for another 40. The morning of chasing before work would end here in Balgonie where I learned firsthand how neatly the distant grain elevator fits into the composition of eastbound shots at Highway 364.
