Comments on: Here is an unusual day for the Niagara’s Clifton Hill Tourist Area. No cars!!!! I was heading downtown as I knew there was a train coming over the border from the States, and hoped to park and grab a shot of it before it got to Clifton Hill crossing. Not quite quick enough. But the very fact the area was devoid of auto traffic was shocking. Wide open!! I just stopped the car and ran out into the street. One can imagine the impact a slow moving freight had on the local activities in the busy tourist season. But this is November, it is dull, cool and quiet.
