Comments on: Here’s a closer view of Ontario Southland’s caboose OSRX 4900 pictured on the Guelph Junction Railway along Edinburgh Road in Guelph. As mentioned previously, this is ex-CP 434900, an earlier CP center-cupola riveted steel van (different from the more popular “Angus” welded steel vans).

This was/is the only piece of equipment lettered for the Guelph Junction Railway. It was in service until about 2010.

This van has been donated to the Guelph Railway Historical Society. Last seen at Guelph Junction
