Comments on: Here’s a neat photo I came across from my dads collection- A CNR Windsor bound passenger train in a 1X1 configuration and with the old Oakville basket factory siding in the background. Check out the old rail cars to the far right in the photo, one would wonder if they were left behind for storage etc. The passenger train is heading westward when track 3 at Oakville was connected to the main at the west end before Kerr street.

Interesting to have the push-pull setup. The train is running as an extra, I wonder if it was an excursion of sorts. Nothing noted in the UCRS lists. Great shot.
