<title>Comments on: Here&#8217;s a shot from 50 years ago at a location I seldom frequented. I am trackside at almost below Hamilton&#8217;s High Level Bridge. Wandering along, I was caught off guard by what I considered at the time an early edition of that daily Toronto to Hamilton and return Starlite. TH&amp;B 72 is leading in this scene in which the train is on the CN to CP connector which enables it to access Aberdeen Yard in Hamilton&#8217;s west end.
Note the track side shanties. There used to be so many of these. Small ones held tools and wayside equipment whereas in larger ones the maintenance guys could store their putt-putts (speeders). All now relics of the past.</title>
