Comments on: Here’s a view of the old Cherry St. Interlocking Tower that one would be hard pressed to get today. This structure was built in 1930-31 and is due to be decommissioned in 2020 when Metrolinx upgrades the signal system. Also, future plans for track expansion means the old building’s life at this location is very limited. Mainly because it is in the way. However it was designated Metrolinx Heritage Property of Provincial Significance in 2013, so the only recourse is to move it. And that is the plan. This view, if possible without being run down or arrested :o)these days would show a couple of tall glass condo towers crowding the background. Such is life in the Distillery District.

Hah!! Very funny, Mr. Snake. I just hope you have lots of money in your AMSB fund (Arnold Mooney Skyway Breakfast):o) For Cap’t Hall, he might not believe (nor you) but I had permission for this image. The tracks back then were accessible from the south side and a guy working some electrical box told me to ‘go ahead but make it quick’, which I did. It would never happen now. Anyone around there these days is looked upon as ‘criminal first, human second’…………..
