Comments on: Here’s an angle you can’t do when it’s sunny – well, not gracefully. A CN Remote control job is reversing down the Farm Track to work Imperial Oil and VIP’s Sarnia yard – in the background is the sprawling Imperial Oil Refinery. Interesting to see a 4100 series GP9 in remote control service.

Hunter, Understanding the variety - don't see many 4100's - tonnes of GP38-2's though.

An sd40-2 working the yard would be rare in Sarnia - i'd love to see that. Hopefully on my next trip :)

The cycles in motive power have certainly been more interesting lately - other than the constant 7200/slug/7200 sets that are the ususal.

Actually 4115 is not a remote unit. Its just paired with 7264 which is a beltpack unit.
They do this quite often at BIT or Mac Yrd

4115 was on the CN rail train to Palmerston in 1996. Nice to see 21 years later it's still earning it's keep.
