Comments on: Here’s looking down the CN line westward on a pleasant spring morning 50 years ago. The old Jordan station has been moved and now is a private residence a couple of hundred yards away. The line here is now single tracked but the second tracked is scheduled to be put back in to accommodate increasing GO commuter traffic. Thats the bridge over Jordan Harbour in the background.

Thanks, Todd…..and Glenn !! I do wish I took more “down the line” shots when I first got into this hobby. Alas, cost of film and actually a lot of stations !!!! made me selective when out shooting back then.

I agree with Glenn’s comment. Love seeing old stations in place where they were built, and used. Happy ending in retirement for the Jordan station.
