Comments on: High Noon at Thunder Bay.
Operating a little late VIA 6505 – 66xx pulls VIA Rail # 1 into the depot. CP carmen and maintenance workers await the arrival along with fourteen paying passengers on the (extra wide) track # 1 platform plus at least that many more are to exit the waiting room – wonder what form of transport all those people would use today?
At the right is CP Rail #407 with 5593 leading including a foreigner – a QNSL ? – waiting to follow # 1.

The leaser looks to be a Chessie unit, either a GP38 or GP40 and the last number in the numberboard is a 4 (I think).
