Comments on: Hoping that Huron Central was still sticking to a schedule that saw an eastbound come out of the Soo in the early morning I headed west from Sudbury in the pre-dawn darkness. It was still dark as I passed through Massey. I got all the way to the Soo and there was no sign of a Huron Central train. There was nothing going on in the Soo either so I headed back to Sudbury. Once I got back to Massey I found the Huron Central eastbound in Massey. A bunch of cars were in the ditch and the power was tied up in “town”. I’m sure they were there when I went through earlier but were just far enough away from the highway that I did not see them in the darkness.

You did well with this. I do miss going north and seeing these rather old gas stations. They may also still be there for all we know.
