Comments on: Hours earlier, CN 1437 was working CN L566 as what I believe was the last GMD-1 in active service on CN. Used by CN crews in the couple days prior, the locomotive was dropped off around midnight on the 23′rd and later that day, WCR crews took their new locomotive for a spin for some photos and to try ‘er out. I was able to attend and get a guided tour of the new equipment along with the WCR staff. The locomotice was posed in a couple spots near Harvey H. Martin farm.
