Comments on: How many trains do you see? A full house at Hamilton due to some unusual circumstances. With CN 421 and 422 BOTH working the yard, the ‘hot’ track and yard track are both in use in Hamilton. This meant GO trains had to both take the plant at dundurn over to stuart on the newly constructed tracks for West Harbour GO. Two GO trains are pictured at Stuart at the signal bridge – one on the left is sitting waiting at the signals stopped for CN 422 to clear the hot track. The GO train just to the left of it is coming in as it is part of the all-day service to West Harbour and has nothing in the way. Out of sight is the 0800 Hamilton Yard working the east end. You can see three sets of CN power: A GP9 from L351 sitting in the yard, and set of power that the 0800 will have to switch out was set off by 421, and of course, the mainline power is 421 going for their lift in the Hamilton yard. Busy times, but only for brief minutes :)

The NSC prototype cars are all located along burlington st now. Not sure why some or all of them were in the yard but they are all back home.

As I understand it L351 was a Dimensional Move from Aldershot to the Docks of Federal Marine Terminal to drop a transformer off on the HPEX 200 Schnable car. I Don't think its a new ID for the area, was a once off.

Nice to see that kind of action; if only briefly. Getting the two GO trains side by side really adds to the claustrophobic feel of the image. Is L351 a new symbol ?
