<title>Comments on: How the mighty fell&#8230;. CN and CP purchased the once magnificent Canada Southern from Conrail in the late 80&#8242;s, and ran what was once a class 1 &#8220;freeway&#8221; for goods moving from New York to Chicago into literally a pile of rubble. In Comber, Ontario the only thing left of the once mighty Canada Southern is their former depot. I&#8217;m glad it&#8217;s being preserved by the SOLRS group, but it may just fade away as nature takes the CASO back completely.</title>
