	<title>Comments on: I arrived in Edmonton as things were becoming relatively boring. The NAR was absorbed into CN and the downtown rail facilities were being rationalized. (by coincidence, I would leave Edmonton as things were becoming more interesting by having CN spin off a number of their branch line operations.)
Here, we have an eastbound Work Extra returning to town, led by an ex NAR GP-9. I don&#8217;t think CN was really quick to repaint the NAR units but they were still rare to see, but at least twice I saw them of the wrecker train.</title>
