Comments on: I cannot imagine what this area looks like today; as I have not been to the location of the old West Toronto diamond in years. But in 1977 it seemed quiet and simple. One could park the car and wander. And I did just that this April 10th, a pleasant Sunday. Coming from London-way and heading into Toronto Union are the ‘noon’ Budds; CN 6120, 6006, 6115 and 6203; rolling on the CN Weston Sub where it crosses the CP North Toronto sub which is further complicated by the CP MacTier sub as it meanders from left to right heading northward in this photo. In the background behind the train is the CN West Toronto Station out by Weston Road crossing. Signals at right are for the CP service track.

Thanks for the correction. Only thing that ever happened when wandering back then was getting waves from the crew.

Nice one, you might only get an admonishment from the CPR po back then; today it would be jail time.
That signal on the right governs northbounds to the Mactier coming off the North Toronto Sub.
